Can I try before I buy?

Yes. The first room of each Exploration edition is free, with no card required. At the end of that room, you can choose whether to continue with the full game.

How do I play?

Open the game in your browser. Click the scene’s interactive points to examine objects, keep your discoveries in your inventory and use them to progress. Play alone or work together around the same screen.

Can I take a break?

Your progress is saved in the browser you use. Return on the same device and browser to continue. You can also export your saved game from the game menu.

Do the two editions share progress?

No. Exploration focuses on searching rooms and handling objects; the classic edition has 80 puzzles, or 90 for the Train. Each edition keeps its own progress.

Do I need to install anything?

The Exploration edition runs online in your browser. The classic edition can be downloaded. Start with the free trial to see how the game works on your device.

The story

1929. The Royal is closing its doors. An accountant has hidden proof that money was taken from the staff accounts. Search the deserted casino and find the ledger before it is destroyed.

What to expect

Explore four illustrated locations through eight chapters of ten puzzles. Decode documents, compare times, reconstruct sequences and gather evidence. Solve each chapter’s puzzles in any order; the next chapter opens once all ten are complete.

Four new settings and a new story

This edition has been rewritten and illustrated with four new settings. Each puzzle’s documents contain all the information you need: no code depends on spotting a tiny detail in an image.

A journal brings together your notes and solved evidence. Success sounds are optional and can be switched off.

This adventure contains 80 puzzles and a rewritten story. Saves from the earlier edition remain separate: this new investigation starts from the beginning.

Hints and saved progress to help you play together

Each puzzle includes a hint and an explained solution. The timer records time played without imposing a deadline. Autosave lets you return in the same browser; exporting your game lets you move to another device. Each adventure has its own saved progress.

Which devices can I use?

The classic file works in a recent browser on a computer, tablet or TV connected to a computer. Once downloaded, it can be played offline. Exploration requires an internet connection.

Can I play over several sessions?

Yes. Progress is saved automatically, so you can return to where you stopped using the same browser. Export your saved game if you want to move to another device.

Can I replay the game?

You can start a new game, but this edition’s puzzles and answers stay the same. Saved games from earlier editions are not compatible.
