Looking for an escape game to play with your family? Our games are written for adults. They involve close reading, multi-step reasoning and clues that need to be compared across documents. They are not designed or tested as children’s games, and we do not give them a minimum child age. The Four Aces uses a casino setting for puzzles; it does not involve real-money gambling. Why we explain this up front
Sharing a screen can be a good way to play together: one person operates the game while the others observe, discuss and take notes. That does not make an adult puzzle suitable for every child. Our games include hints, but the reading level and reasoning remain those of an adult adventure. We would rather help you make that distinction before you pay.
Who are these games for?

What an adult puzzle game involves
Expect documents that need careful reading, codes built from several pieces of information and mechanisms that make you revisit an earlier clue. Keeping notes can help. Some answers will take discussion and more than one attempt; that is part of the intended challenge.
The games are developed around adult players’ reading and reasoning. A younger participant may enjoy spotting objects or suggesting ideas, but an adult may still need to do most of the reading and solving. A trial lets you see whether that balance works for your family.
Age suitability: what we can honestly say
There is no ‘ages X and up’ promise on these games. Such a promise would need age-specific testing and suitable reading levels. These adventures use atmospheric settings such as a deserted sports hall, an old workshop or a casino, but setting and difficulty are separate questions. Check the individual game description and try it together.
For a mixed-age group, the most useful check is practical: play free game (Français) together. The French-language game is available free, and the translated Exploration trials let you sample the new versions as they are prepared. Watch whether everyone can read, contribute and stay interested.
